Sony HX80 Features

The Sony HX80 has many great features, in this part of the review I have listed a couple of the best features that the Sony HX80 has.

30X Optical Zoom Lens and 60X Clear Image Digital Zoom

This means that you can get super close detailed pictures with the camera, also reducing the reflection on your photos such as flare and ghosting. With a clear image zoom the camera processes patterns found in adjacent pixels and creates new pixels to match the pattern in the photo this means that your photos will be more realistic and high quality.

Great Video Features

With the Sony HX80 you can record high quality videos ata resolution of 1920 x 1080, these videos can be saved in varuous different formats. The camera also has a built in stereo microphone and mono speaker meaning that you can record videos with sound in and play them back on the camera.

5 Axis Image Stabilization

The Sony HX80 has a 5 Axis Image Stabilization which results in sharp detailed images and videos. Using the intelligent active mode on the camera combined with the 5 Axis Image Stablization greatly reduces blur caused by moving the camera. This feature is exceptionally good when shooting videos or movies as it allows you to move along with the movement resulting in clear images of the motion.

Sony HX80 Lens

The Sony HX80 has a 24–720 mm F3.5 – F6.4 30× zoom lens which is great for capturing all sorts of pictures, the Camera also features an wide angle capacity from its 24mm focal length and super telephoto reach at 720mm.

The Sony HX80 also has a optical image stabilisation system which is really useful at lower shutter speeds and reduces the blur of your images. The Sony HX80 is also equipped with both a Manual Exposure Mode and Manual Focus Mode.

Conclusion

The Sony HX80 Camera is a great small and compact light weight camera which makes it easy to carry around anywhere. The camera is really affordable compared to a lot of other cameras on the market and is high quality therefore you are getting a lot for your money.

As well as high quality detailed pictures the Sony HX80 can also take high quality 1920 x 1080 resolution videos which can be saved and uploaded in various different formats therefore the camera can also be used for shooting quality videos or movies.

Another great thing about the Sony HX80 is that it has built in wifi making it easy to share and upload your photos and videos with your family and friends.

The only downside to the camera is that it doesn’t have any environmental sealings therefore I wouldn’t recommend the Sony HX80 if you are planning to photograph or record videos outside a great deal.
